Peek inside The Clubhouse, our free online creativity community
We're working hard to deliver on the "Club" part of our name. (Also, "we're" a one-person show, as you'll learn in the next section.)
The good news? We've broken ground on The Clubhouse, a members-only area of our website that will give Club Members access to:
- Groups with posting, commenting, and reacting features
- Guilds for connecting (and even competing!) with other makers in any and all niches
- Games, quests, quizzes, and other fun ways to make your creative practice more playful
- Profiles with gamified elements: badges, levels, Guild Points & more
Excited? So are we. We're having tons of fun building this thing, but we'll be real: we need your help to make it happen. Running a website ain't cheap, and right now, we're paying all costs totally out of pocket.
To help us grow, please consider downloading a freebie or buying a goodie from the Joyful Shop. We share as many free resources as we can reasonably produce, and all our workbooks are within the price of a coffee. Everything we make is based on the real systems we use daily in our business and creative practice.
Behind the curtain: Meet the showrunner
Hey! Thanks for stopping by the club. I'm Mel, the human behind the scenes of Joyful. (Yep, just one human — no "generative" stuff allowed here, which includes this lil avatar!)
You can learn more about me on our about page — but for now, a rundown of our top 3 beliefs here at the club:
- Finances should never be a barrier to creativity.
- Amplifying creatives in marginalized communities is more important now than ever.
- All artistic spaces (including websites like ours) should be designed for accessibility.
